+ Past and Future Highlights!
Dec 6, 2011 Just aquired a 2,000 sq ft open space studio with 40' high ceilings, which will be used for new video shoots and audio recording. Currently constructing a green screen set, inlcuding a seamless green floor, and a black backdrop set for staging acting scenes for my new reel. High-end lighting/audio will help make this a comfortable workspace to create, without having to be "on the clock" in the Manhattan spaces that I've rented in the past. First shoot is scheduled for Jan 28th with B'way actress Cheryl Stern directing some scenes/monologues. Post-production will be done in my home studio. Will keep you posted.
Oct 5, 2011 Just booked and am honored to be speaking in Birmingham, Alabama, Jan 21st of 2012 at a popular writer’s seminar. I’m humbled and grateful as these invitations are being extended only because my book, “Brooklyn NY: A Grim Retrospective”, is #1 “Top Rated” in several categories on Amazon, and is #4 “Top Rated” out of all 650,000+ non-fiction Kindle books. I truly appreciate and sincerely thank you all for your continued support as I share my story with the world.
Sept 1, 2011 Comedian and former "The Tonight Show" host David Brenner commented on my new book. His remarks will be on the new back cover of the the book soon. He is also mulling whether to do a Foreword for my book.
July 28, 2011 NY Post celebrity gossip columnist and "Good Morning America" regular Cindy Adams endorses Jerry's book, "Brooklyn NY: A Grim Retrospective" in the print and online versions of the NY Post!
May 16th, 2011 - Jerry appeared on former NFL player R-Kal Truluck's radio show, "Inside the Trenches", to promote his new book, "Brooklyn NY: a Grim Retrospective." They then replayed the show for Memoiral Day Weekend (which is unusual because of it's close proximity to the original air date) because R-Kal and casting director Kim Smith both thought that it was one of R-Kal's best shows. He then invited Jerry to fly out to Arizona in the fall to do R-Kal's TV show.
Feb 20, 2011 - Jerry hosted and opened the show for millon-selling record artist Lou Christie (Lightnings Striking) and acclaimed tenor Michael Amante in Raleigh, North Carolina at The Center for the Performing Arts.*The January 6, 2011 Special performance at The Actors Fund Home in Engelwood, NJ was so much fun. Thanks to the wonderful audience, staff and tech people for helping make this show such a success! I'm honored to be asked back every year to perform for these wonderful people!
The south Florida shows that started on 3-12-2010 went very well! Thanks to all the bookers and thank you to all of the venues that had me!
*Jerry's new, well reviewed book (Nearly 300 "Five Star" reader reviews) is now available at Amazon.com and other online booksellers. There is an direct order link to Amazon.com on the "Buy Book" page. The title is, "Brooklyn NY: A Grim Retrospective".

Current Projects
Recording Work
Jerry continues to write, record and produce original music (samples are on his Listen/Watch page) in his home based recording studio that he has grown over the last 21 years. In Dec. 2011, he took possession of a huge, 2000 sq ft studio space for all audio/video recording projects. New, original music will be available on Amazon in 2012.After starting with analog tape based multi-track, then moving to digital tape based (Alesis ADAT) multi-track and SVHS/DAT for mixdown, Jerry is now running three Quad Core, (2 music only) Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit machines and he is working strictly with sample based instruments triggered via MIDI to prepare music for his live shows when live bands are not contracted. An astounding 250 gigs of Sample libraries include Garritan Jazz and Big Band, the NI Kontact 3 library, Dimension Pro and many others are on hand. Drum samples are by Native Instruments Battery 3.
His high end software arsenal includes Native Instruments Komplete 6, Cakewalk Sonar 8.5 Producer, Sony Sound Forge 10 and CD Architect 5.2, Celemony's Melodyne Studio stand alone program and plug in, as well as the full Adobe CS5.5 Production Suite.
Large diaphragm microphones that include the Neumann TLM-103 and Equitek CAD ( as well as several wired and wireless dynamic/condenser handhelds and lavaliers), Mackie mixing consoles and several racks of outboard processing gear round out his well equipped studio.
Tony nominated Broadway and film composer Gary William Friedman has cleared the way for Jerry to record two of his compositions, “This One’s For Me” and “1945,” for a CD Jerry is slated to start work on early 2012. This CD will be released on Amazon in 2012.
Acting Related
Jerry regularly attends acting auditions for any non-classical theatre, film or television roles that become available. His agent for acting in NYC is Lewis Chambers of The Bethel Agency 212-864-4510, a SAG, EQUITY, AFTRA franchised agency. He is also busy writing a one-man stage show for the theatre, adapted from his very well-reviewed book "Brooklyn NY: A Grim Retrospective".
